Case study

Payneham & Dudley Park Cemeteries

Payneham & Dudley Park Cemeteries has served Adelaide's northeastern suburbs since 1845. Visitors to the site fall into three groups with almost nothing in common: people arranging a funeral this week, people pre-planning years ahead, and people visiting a grave. A fourth group, councils and community organisations, comes for the cemetery management arm. One generic "our services" page can't serve all four.

Palumbo's existing web presence didn't reflect the scale or ambition of their portfolio. With major developments across Adelaide CBD and beyond, they needed a platform that could grow with them - one that was easy to manage internally without relying on a developer for every update.

Following the brand cstrategy work by our friends at WO Advertising, the goal was clear - Palumbo needed a digital home that could match the scale of their portfolio and put content control firmly in their hands.

We built the site on Next.js and Sanity CMS, giving Palumbo a fast, modern platform with a fully custom content management system. The team can now add and update projects, pages, and media without touching code. Designed in close collaboration with the Palumbo team, the site reflects their reputation - clean, confident, and built to last.

The result: a scalable platform delivered in two weeks, purpose-built for a developer that's been shaping South Australia for over six decades.
